Yesterday at Suncoast, we spoke about about how we get to choose the WHAT we are planting and WHERE we are planting but it requires us to live consciously. What does that mean…living consciously? To me its about being awake and aware to who we are as well as to who Spirit is calling us to be.

There was a quote I shared from Jesus, “Let him that have ears, hear.” I always wondered really the significance of that until it hit me – “if you hear this, then LISTEN to what I’m saying”. Don’t just be entertained by it, but really listen and take it deep. Let it reverb within and leave you changed.

This is my desire for myself and everyone at Suncoast CSL that we are changed by really hearing the Truth. Spirit is calling to each one of us to be, do and have only what Spirit can express through us as unique children of God. Taking the time to be present opens up to plant in the “good earth” where we will reap 100x what was sown.

I accept for myself open ears – I hear and am transformed by Truth and am set free by It.

Here is the audio of yesterday’s talk:

Daylight Savings began yesterday and there wasn’t only a springing forward on the clocks but there was also a “spring forward” in our Celebration Service @ Suncoast CSL. This was one of our best services yet!

The talk yesterday, “Clearing the Field”, was the second in our series about “Creating Your Field of Dreams”. During the talk, we discussed how we have a role to play in producing this harvest, we have to till the soil of our consciousness to make room for the seeds we are wanting to plant.

There are two components that come into play when we are consciously moving in the direction of the life we desire. There is first DESIRE, which was touched last Sunday. The second, is BELIEF. If we desire big dreams but do not have the belief that it is possible – we can forget about it!

I shared an affirmation that I’m currently working with to help everyone increase the size of their belief: “Anything that is possible to anyone is possible to me.” Sit with that one for awhile.

I am thrilled at seeing how Spirit is at work through each of volunteers. The work that they are doing is helping create the space for each of our guests, attenders and members to EXPERIENCE a greater vision of who they are, seeing themselves already enjoying the fruit of those fields of dreams.

Yesterday was a wonderful morning at Suncoast CSL. It was our Grand Opening! On May 2, 2010 I shared a vision for a New Thought spiritual community in Tampa, a place that the “spiritual, but not religious” can call home. Up till yesterday, we have been holding a service once a month, with some other events or gatherings during the month. Here at our grand opening we are now holding weekly services. It was an exciting day!

When I got up to give a welcome to everyone I was looking at the room and at the back there were people standing up waiting for more chairs!

I started a talk series yesterday called “Creating Your Field of Dreams”. The first talk was about, “Deciding What to Plant”. Everyone was led into an experiential to get clear of something that they want in their field of dreams – they wrote it on a cutout of a flower and hung it on a “Dream Tree” that we had on stage. It was amazing to see everyone wanting to actively create a new experience. I know that God is acting in each ones life – many seeds were planted yesterday for good and more good!

Afterwards a number of people spoke about how excited there were that we were now meeting every week. Me too!

Check out some of the pictures from yesterday - http://www.flickr.com/photos/suncoastcsl/sets/72157626212707554/
